Begin a guided jungle trek from the peninsula’s north gate, ascending through evergreen forest alive with langurs, macaques, and butterflies.

Reach the 700 m summit clearing for panoramic coast views and set up a lightweight camp. Dusk brings red-shanked douc langurs and firefly displays.

Dawn descent to the east shore, then wander the 800 m mangrove boardwalk to spot mudskippers, crabs, and waders before catching a boat back to town.

Paddle stand-up boards through the estuary’s calm side channels as terns, sandpipers, and stilts return to roost on sandbanks against a glowing sky.

End the retreat with a candle-lit table in the rice fields: charcoal-grilled veggies, herbal teas, and a phone-lock box to keep the disconnection going until goodbye.
