Meet your guide at the mirador where the dirt path begins its steep climb toward the Santa Catarina ridge; volcanoes San Pedro and Tolimán dominate the skyline from the start.

Follow the narrow ridge trail through pine forest and agave fields until you reach the exposed rock outcrop; the lake sits 600 m below and all three volcanoes line up for photos.

Spread out your packed lunch and enjoy uninterrupted views of Volcán Atitlán rising straight from the lake while your guide shares local stories of the Tz'utujil people.

Drop back into the village via ancient stone footpaths, ending at the colorful church; celebrate completing the 1,000 m elevation loop with cold coconut water from a street vendor.

Return to Panajachel in time for golden hour; sip a local Gallo beer or atole de elote on the lakefront dock while the volcanoes turn pink with the setting sun.
