Head north on the smooth park connector skirting reservoirs and mangroves, finishing under huge fig trees at Springleaf for a riverside lunch break.

Pedal quiet farm roads past goat farms, organic veggie plots and the Sungei Buloh wetlands lookout, sampling fresh goat milk ice-cream along the way.

Return to town via the Singapore River PCN, cruising past colourful shophouses before parking the bike for riverside tapas and craft beer.

Begin with a mountain-bike loop through Kent Ridge’s lush canopy, then glide along the elevated canopy walkway for panoramic harbour views.

Continue on the paved waterfront path, snapping photos of the skyline, Gardens by the Bay and the iconic Merlion before a café lunch at the barracks.
